Seven million people short of water
More than seven million people in 491 districts of 53 provinces are suffering
from a water shortage, the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation
reported on Wednesday.
The amount of water in many large and medium-sized reservoirs across the country
had dwindled to 46.247 billion cubic metres, or about 63 per cent of the total
capacity.
